Select

Choose one of a known, short list. Over roughly ten options use Combobox so the user can type.

The trigger matches Input height for the same size, so they line up in a form row.
The popup is a standard Reckon popup: 10px radius, 1px border, faint large shadow, checkmark in a 16px gutter.
Never a native <select> — there is no lint rule for it, use the component anyway.
Two to four exclusive filter options are a ToggleGroup; five or more are a Select.
