Badge

A status word attached to something else — never a standalone label and never a button substitute.

The four status variants are an 8% tint with the darker foreground; solid fills are reserved for default and destructive.
error is a failure event, warning is a deliberate state needing attention — they never share a colour.
The label comes from the product’s own status enum. Never pass a literal string into a badge.
Badges are not interactive. If it needs a click, it is a Button or a filter chip.
Pills at every size: 8px side padding by default, 6px on sm, 10px on lg.
